Fresh off the back of victory at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Max
Verstappen is spending his off-weekend before Singapore back in a
racing car. The F1 champion is once again set to take part in a
race at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, and he is officially now
qualified to do so. In the gap between Italy and Azerbaijan,
Verstappen competed at the Nordschleife in a tuned-down Porsche
Cayman GT4 machine to obtain his licence to race at the fearsome
14.7-mile 'Green Hell.' He did so and is now eligible to compete in
the 2026 Nurburgring 24 Hours, set to take place between the Miami
and Canadian Grands Prix, but first, he is returning to the
Nurburgring this weekend – September 27th – to compete in the
in-house NLS Racing series.  Verstappen will be competing in the
ninth round of the series, consisting of a four-hour race in which
the Dutchman will be behind the wheel of a Ferrari 296 GT3.  It
will be in the Verstappen.com Racing colours and run by Emil Frey
Racing, with the 27-year-old to be partnered by Chris Lulham in the
GT3 PRO class. The schedule for how and where Max Verstappen will
be racing this weekend at the Nurburgring Nordschleife is below.
